I'll cheer for a big storm just as much as anyone else.. but I don't see the need in getting excited for a coating to 1 inch kind of storm and turning it in to 3-6 with lollis to 8.

The thing is...Kevin is a slick salesman. Smooth as silk....he talks a storm into 3-6 with lollis to 8 inches and then back down to 3 inches without anyone really noticing (except us of course, lol). By the time the storm has ended, he has talked/BS'd his way into a great forecast.

Yup... pretty much lol.

Dark day for UConn today. After a boring storm a rough 24 hours for us in the state.

Why? Because he has no hair?

That too...lol.

This may sound sappy....but I still enjoy watching these. It reminds me of how much I loved this time of the year when I was younger...and of course much of that was due to snow. Such good times just being outdoors in the snow. Bring me back....lol.

No but last winter and October and so far this year would have led me to take my life. And the back door season is brutal..For me personally it's not for me..Just me though

Last winter was horrible for you, October will never happen again, and Phil got more than me last year. LOL.

The PDIIs, 04-05s, La Nina winters, will have you think otherwise.

I do wish the torch wouldn't happen, but cannot fight it at this stage. It would be so great to add another 1-2" of weenie snow on Saturday and then have it stay cold to keep the snow on the gorund...but oh well, I can live with it if we can turn the pattern into something a lot bigger by mid December. It would be awesome to have a week like 1975 leading into Christmas...think like 2007 or 2008 but minus the Grinch Storm.

Hey have you ever seen pics of the big SE NC blizzard of '89? Wow and right before Chrismas.
