NorthShoreWx
It's been all rain from Queens to Suffolk. Not here. All snow at the moment. Great big wet flakes. Has anyone trotted out the "parachute" descriptor yet?

Sundog
Snow is starting to overtake the precip type in Bayside, Queens. Keep me posted. I'd like to know if there's more snow by my house when I get home. There's a warmer bubble of temps near the south shore doing their best to keep this rain as long as possible. The RGEM shows it well as well.

famartin
Of note is some of the liquid-equivalent totals: TTN 0.31" PNE 0.30" PHL 0.30" PTW 0.34" TTN and PTW may be a bit low since they're heated tipping buckets so some of the snow may be evaporating instead of melting. I mentioned eariler how models like to act like the East Coast looks like what it looked like 20,000 years ago, i.e.,no Long Island. Those projections never verify. (slight coastal enhancement?) Yes, we're expecting coastal enhancement from about 3-6pm, there will be survivor bands backbuilding as the storm moves out but it should be wrapping up W-E shortly after nightfall.
