Those are nice pics from all of you. Wet snow is the best..there really is no comparison. It looks so much more impressive than wind blown fluff.

However, my second favorite type of snow (this is rare for the coast due to wind), are those perfect dendrites that fall with no wind and pile up on everything. The type that sort of fall and cascade down the sides of cars or what have you...and make an 18" snowfall look like 2'+.

It looks like this, although I don't know when or where this was taken.

Somewhere in NYC during the 2/12/06 storm would be my guess.

Weenies gonna ween. I'll stick with the first order climo stations for SNE that besides ORH had some pretty uninspiring totals.

Job well done by the red taggers. Fail for the slant stickers.

Elevation played a large role where the ground was (and is) still covered around here. IMO, Outside of ORH, the other first order stations do not represent what happened higher up. From what I saw, there was clearly at least 2-3" above 500' and none below 200' in the CT River Valley.

Will, do you know what your Union person received? I wasn't able to get over there today but I know the other 1000' spot I go over seemed to have about 3", but that is west of here. I think if they are in the eastern part of town they might have gotten some of those higher echos.

that's convenient for an elevation storm that effected areas below the pike if you wanna pretend it didn't snow. and my tone is joking , but really there are A TON of hills in ct and if you were over 500 feet you got 2 inches of snow over 800 and you got 3 in alot of cases. same goes for rhode island.

but alot or red taggers hit on this pretty well. weenies pretty much had their expectations in check over the last day or so, i don't think anyone was thinking they were getting 6 inches of snow, anywhere in SNE.

It was a joke about the 1st order climo stations.

The storm was pretty much AWT. Was hoping for a last minute break toward snowier but it just didn't happen. Always looked like elevated E CT had the best chance at seeing 2" or 3" and that's what happened.

Lol, he reported less than you. Though as I said before, board measurement vs grass measurement makes a difference...esp in early season snow.

Yeah I noticed that with the early November storm. My ruler into grass measurement was giving me some monster weenie readings so at least initially I shaved 25% or so off those numbers.

Good, I'm glad your not all anti sugar. I thought you were becoming one of those.

I did give up soda about 10-12 months ago. Havent had a sip..And I used to drink 1-2 Cokes per day.Nothing puts/keeps weight on folks more than soda

I eat very healthy, but do allow myself a DD Iced Mocha of some sort everyday. That syrup is loaded with sugar..
