weatherMA
I am so jealous of those pics...reminds me of the ~2.5" that fell in early February of 2011 except that it fell on top of 2+ feet of snow cover...freshened things up after it had started to melt...can't remember the exact date...2/10? Sugarloaf1989
I visited my dad in Enfield today and he had a light dusting of snow this morning that is now gone. Snow still exists here above around 700', but alot melted with the warm ground/air temperatures today along with some sunshine.

mfastx
Apparently, the city of Boston must have a budget for snow and ice removal, because there is an exhorbitant amount of salt on my street. It's like a massive salt mine and for no reason. Yup, apparently. Boston got absolutely nothing, too. A few weenie flakes.
ORH_wxman
that looks about right...1.5"? Damage In Tolland
Some mets really struggled calling for sprinkles and flurries while others did a little better wit 1-2 but were still a little light. But not Scooter. Nailed the 3-4 inch amounts and jackpot zone. Wow!

CoastalWx
Those are nice pics from all of you. Wet snow is the best..there really is no comparison. It looks so much more impressive than wind blown fluff. However, my second favorite type of snow (this is rare for the coast due to wind), are those perfect dendrites that fall with no wind and pile up on everything. The type that sort of fall and cascade down the sides of cars or what have you...and make an 18" snowfall look like 2'+. It looks like this, although I don't know when or where this was taken.
