Apparently, the city of Boston must have a budget for snow and ice removal, because there is an exhorbitant amount of salt on my street. It's like a massive salt mine and for no reason.

Our area really iced up after the sun set. Roads have not had any salt on them since last winter, so it was slick.

We wound up with about 0.5". More on mulch piles, grass. Trees were caked.

Moonlight last night was awesome

KFS verified after starting off at 4-8, then downgrading to 3-6, then 2-4 with lollis to 5...then finally 1-3 with lollis to 4.

Many of the mets that downgraded to an inch or two the day before couldn't keep up with the rapid updates of the KFS model.

awesome

on another note i saw the GYX met post in here earlier this am and alluded that the area discussion would be updated to downgrade the .5 inch accums that had already been cut from 1-2 inches for the nurlun capital of new england. now the bands look decent am i missing something that this won't drop wide spread 1-2 inches (at least) and yes i realize these are difficult to forecast (intensity wise)
