Allsnow
We'll see how it works out, but I think the heavier activity will not make it as far north as I thought earlier. That may prevent the higher amounts possible. This stuff was supposed to weaken so that is expected, but I'm unsure how this stuff develops overnight..it's probably going to be more in areas with a questionable boundary layer. We'll just see how it goes...but that's my concern. On the plus side, continued ern MA srcew job up this way looks to go as planned. Eventually the worm will turn for you. As a kid in the 90's it seem like boston always had the fun, while i smoked cirrus. Things have a way of balancing out.
ORH_wxman
1-2" for the hills is a nice little event considering it looked like a whiff about 36 hours ago. Maybe someone can pull off a 3 spot. Its nice to see flakes in the air, even in downtown BOS today. Considering it is still November, this has been a pretty wintry start to the cold season. Cold Miser
You do not. You have 1.3" OTG per latest reports. In addition, you have garbage downstream of you with very light snow falling. I think Ginx is in a good spot for this... you should struggle past 2". Brooklyn - Moosup corridor = jackpot?
powderfreak
there's a good deal of snow OTG here Not much OTG so far, although it is covered (grassy sfcs). I would guess it's still under an inch. I was thinking nice you got some good snow after being in Stowe a few days early and missed the upslope event...then I read your second post lol. What model train wreck....a huge cutter when it was 6-8 days out, then a blizzard, then a whiff. Remember a couple GFS and GGEM runs had maxes of over 1.5" QPF in CNE? Like legit 1-2 foot amounts at one point and the GFS even spit out 1-1.25" up here on a 00z run a few days ago, lol.
