A month later we'd be going to town but the 50 degree water temps are just too much to overcome. Really it's only snowed 1 time and accumulated down this way this early and that was 02 as others indicated. This is all I can do the rest of the night...dreaming about Winter Storm Bertha. Kev is measuring each flake but I'll say this Bow. I'm at 150 feet or so off the water. If someone dropped a grand and set up an anemometer here they'd measure winds that far exceed the nearby stations by 20-30% in every storm. He's way to my west on a high perch in CT. It's not terrible but here's a concept I'll toss out. I think depth of warmth is a factor we don't fully understand yet. Plays a roll in tropical systems for sure. This water was like a bath all year. Warmth went down many feet. It's going to take time to cool it off and the upcoming few weeks won't cut it.
