Wait to see if there is a weenie inv trough that develops to your east. That could do it.

That's what I was thinking. Figured if we see much here it won't be until later on as this thing starts to pull away. But if temps keep creeping up until then I think we'll be SOL for any appreciable accums.

This day feels like most of my childhood did on the shoreline.

Wake up to wet ground, watch it ALMOST snow but not really.

But just north of 95 it's snowing, unbelievable.

Nasty day, but honestly nice to see some precip finally...........and congrats to those getting snow I hope they get a nice advisory event up north!

Yep a perfect description for winters on the New England shoreline. At least we got to skip the coastal front this time. I always feel worse when an event starts off as snow then after an inch or two or three begin to hear the pingers take over until the inevitable change to plain rain washes it all away.

As depressing as changeovers are...I'll take those over plain rain any day.

Flurries here at the edge of the blast zone in downtown Springfield.

How's the cleanup going? Maybe a coating on the glass?

Light to moderate snow in Amherst but boundary temps are higher and it's not sticking. Driveway was fairly white on the hill in Belchertown when I left.
