buckeye
Toronto = Columbus BTW, +1 on the rant, Mike. and Columbus=Nashville You think his rant was good, this morning I started having facial ticks when I saw...once again....a low pressure system parked over WV on the 00z 120 hr euro, translanting into nothing here. I have an epic rant brewing comparable to a bowel blockage.
buckeye
You mean you don't have faith in JBs assurances that the cold is coming. I mean, it's just around the corner. We've got to know that right? I was trying to find that quote of his from a few days back in which he targeted the i-70 corridor for epic winter weather "like many of us have never seen in our lives leading up to xmas". But I don't have the energy or stomach to dig thru the sewage.

I don't post much unless there is a storm but I agree with you, Mike. I've got a rant brewing. Something has got to give.
Jonger
The first wave of cold is still coming, but not as impressive as it was earlier.... The wave coming around the 21st still looks good. Let's hope its not transient. Jon

Trent
Don't forget folks, the past few winters have come to a close the last week of February. That means we've only got about 2 months of snow chances before the next Morch.
snowstormcanuck
And if that doesn't work...I'll drive up there, we can go have several drinks, and go see some jigglies, taa taas, whatever you call them in Ontario. First two rounds on me Timbo. And I know some great places up here you can get your weasel greased on the cheap.

michsnowfreak
I'm going to check, but what did the anomaly map look like in 2011? Jon March 2011 was cold with a few snowstorms, he was more referring to 2010 & 2012. I can handle a "Morch" if the epic pattern of snowy Februaries continues. TimChgo9
Winter...... Harrumph! Harrumph! Grrr. (Expletive) Steady, cold rain going on right now... yuck.... Even missed the Geminids this past week. Thursday and Friday it was supposed to be clear, but it clouded over Northern Illinois just enough to prevent us from seeing any meteors. Can't win with anything around here lately.

BowMeHunter
I think we all can alienate ourselves from this complaining thread for a long, long while after yesterdays ultimate nightmare for the parents who had their families ripped apart, and for all the children, teachers, etc that were at the school and had to witness or be part of this horrific event. Their lives will never be the same.. It's beyond sad that it took yesterday to finally totally wake me up to just how bad complaining and bickering about weather that I have zero control over makes me look without much caring. Chicago WX
Great post BowMe. Puts things in perspective. But I hope that most here complaining are doing so halfheartedly. Sure it's a "fun" hobby we all share, and you want to see your weather wants realized...but there are much more important things in life.

Anyone who takes it too serious might need help. It certainly does put things into perspective though after what those poor families are going through. Such a horrible tragedy.
