Clinch Leatherwood
RGEM is pretty similar to the NAM from what I can tell on the state of the art black and white early charts. (snow showers)
NorEastermass128
Fox 25 'meteorologist' called Tuesday's event a 'decent snowstorm' Poor guy is going to lose his job. EDIT: He has 2-4" for CT-RI. 1-2" throughout BOS metro. Ballsy.

Ginx snewx
How could you forget my 3.9" back in January? Lol just bustin, you would take a 4 hour period covering everything in a heartbeat though.
ORH_wxman
I would take several hours of mood flakes and a coating....better than nothing at all. I wish it was more and I don't generally get excited for sheared out precip, but beggars can't be choosers and we are the former in November. I had enough coatings over the last year, it feels like I live in RDU.

If you get .1" you will see two accumulating snowfalls before a good amount of NNE/CNE low elevations see any. That's pretty cool.

I can't count the number of times you said how much you'd appreciate a 2-4" event last winter. I'd take one right about now. Enough to cover the grass. ORH_wxman
00z GFS did come north from 18z...gets some light snow into most of SNE, but unlikely much if any accumulation. Best shot would be the hills of RI and E CT.

Enough to cover the grass. Gotta make lemonade when handed lemons. Last winter 2-4 would be a borderline KU. My whole frustration last year was how every system pretty much screwed this area. The actual amount of snow was disappointing, but the way things materialized was annoying.

Clinch Leatherwood
GFS bumped the .1" line into CT and maybe right along the RI coast and cape islands. Not that great but somewhat more exciting. Bring on the Euro. Anyone see the crazie uncle yet?
