dryslot
To be honest, I was thinking from a ptype perspective. I mean yeah...nothing was off the table, but I became more concerned about ptype. Kind of hard to think we would get whiffed when the guidance made such a jump the night before...something that has signified a trend with past events. Yes, As in rain instead of snow, The only thing that was pretty remote at that point was a cutter, Even though a whiff possibility was mentioned but refuted by some
Damage In Tolland
12z gave you 2 or so. Yeah 2-3..A bit more in N Ri..As of now . a good starting point
CoastalWx
It's been an interesting Fall in terms of storminess and forecasting. Sandy was the easiest, but such a highly unusual track...the last second shift east of the November 7th storm to hit NYC and CT., and then this storm. The last two both featuring things I didn't totally expect..but weren't impossible.
dryslot
12z Euro may not even look like the 0z run
Clinch Leatherwood
12z gave you 2 or so. Euro is ugly. Sheared mess compared to the 0z. Extreme coastal sections get into the .1" total range? But not much NW. Euro was a lot faster this run following the other 12z guidance from NCEP. So, I think as most of the mets already thought this one is :

Clinch Leatherwood
Sacked on 3rd and long. Don't want to go for it on your own 1? Lol We still have a shot at our first measurable snow in November in awhile but it could still go either way towards a little more substantial or a total mess. I do like that models are still trying to spin it up a bit as it moves out.

USCAPEWEATHERAF
Euro had a pretty big burp yesterday. Too bad. Yes it did, but other than that it has done fairly well. Models continue to show a weaker and weaker shortwave and the first shortwave taking all of the moisture with it. I think there is chance they change, but right now its almost a done deal. CoastalWx
Can we end the business of people saying the s/w needs to be sampled first? I think the18z GFS did a decent job sniffing this out.
