radarman
Anyone feel/hear Springfield blast? Internet says probably a gas leak, injuries but no fatalities. I was online when it happened. Heard a deep rumble but honestly thought the cats upstairs had knocked over a stack of books, which they are prone to do at times. Plus they were scrambling around right after. Blew it off initially, but was surprised when everything was in place. Only later on when I heard what happened did I realize it might have been the blast. Some neighbors claim to have heard it too. We're probably 15 miles away? Miracle nobody got killed, especially with all the flying glass.

ORH_wxman
It nearly brings the sfc low over the Cape....that is really amped. That is a lot of snow for the interior...esp elevated and north of pike into CNE. Hard to buy this solution though.
CoastalWx
The ridge out west is in a classic shape to send the low se and amplify.
ORH_wxman
Long duration event on this. At any rate, I highly doubt this verifies even though it would be fun. But perhaps this is at least a good sign that we can get the Euro to bump north and get us back in the game for anything at all.

CoastalWx
I hope I lose my wager (not really a wager) with Blizz Euro isn't always God, but Sandy made people fall in love with it and build statues to it. Although it has yet to come out, I'll be shocked if it didn't come NW even a little.
