CT Rain
Euro is actually not far from a snow event around here next Wednesday.... followed by super cold.
dendrite
Euro is actually not far from a snow event around here next Wednesday.... followed by super cold. Yeah it's close...if we can keep the energy separate long enough to prevent a torching cutter there's a chance we can pull something off late. The cold is definitely impressive too on the northern side of that boundary. May be able to squeeze something out.

CoastalWx
I think we will relax into the first week of Dec, in terms of pattern. Been modeled for a while now, but.....where exactly we are WRT boundary is key.

Mr Torchey
Nope, Always been 2:00 pm since i was growing up, That's the Italian way..........lol Jealous! We always ate around 1 growing up, napped then had Turkey sandwiches around 7. My wife's family eats around 7 pm, way too late, never enough time to digest. Wow the Euro was frigid later next week, but you can see the warmup coming towards December at the end of the run.
CoastalWx
Even if we do relax, I don't think we have any right to complain. Pretty decent pattern overall. Maybe we cash in, maybe we don't....but I'll take it.

The signal is for a "dirty" warmup like we've had for the past week.

Exactly Joe, Either turkey sandwiches or toast the bread and dump turkey and gravy over it in a plate
CoastalWx
And as we get deeper into December we have a better shot of being on the snowy side of the line. It's going to depend on how strong the NAO block is. If it is a little more west based, we're in. At least at the moment, there are signs that the PAC jet relaxes and a weak +PNA sets up. That will allow the jet to buckle and bring the colder air back in here at that point.

CoastalWx
I think the euro ensembles are split in trying to figure out what s/w to deal with, but I think some are more amped up with that second one.
