ctsnowstorm628
Front end thump on the 12z GFS here before the change over Happy Thanksgiving everyone! And yes, NNE sees like 2-4" SN/IP then liquid. Meh. Pretty blah dynamics with that LP passing over Montreal.
Typhoon Tip
Front end thump on the 12z GFS here before the change over eh, looks like another random guess of a run to me. i think this entire system is assimilated due to data sparse regions of the Pac - just a hunch. Mr Torchey
Just scored some silver maple ash and oak on the way back from the football game, I could literally fill my truck up every single day for the next year there is so much wood down. Its time to libate, bloody mary followed by a long steady grind on a bottle of JWblue. Happy Happy!

CT Rain
Talk about a D7 ridge bridge followed by some nasty -NAO ridging on the 00z GEFS mean. http://www.meteo.psu.edu/~fxg1/ENSHGTAVGNH_0z/ensloopmref.html Interesting setup next 15 days IMO. wxmanmitch
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! The cold frontal passage tomorrow night and Saturday morning could yield a few showers and snow showers for the orographically favored areas of W NE, but I don't think this will be a big deal if anything occurs. The air is too dry both ahead and behind the front to bear much upslope fruit. Some minor upslope may take place across the Greens on Sunday, but this is not a classic upslope/lake effect leftovers situation. 12Z GFS looks a bit on the mild side for any frozen in SNE below the Pike regarding the midweek event since the high slides offshore. Verbatim, NNE would see some frozen before the changeover occurs. If some cold air gets trapped, ZR could be an issue for some on the east facing slopes of the Greens. weatherMA
Pretty much dead on average for Thanksgiving. Not really. It's above average, especially on the highs. ORH averages 46-47F and they should see 51-52F. BDL averages 50F and they should see 54F. Concord averages similar to ORH and they're already up to 52F and 1pm.
