Poor Frank Strait from Accuweather...didn't see the Winter Storm Watches from the NWS for Texas. Didn't even mention it after doing a whole video for the South-East the other day.

OK, first, it's snowing in West Texas early this morning. This is making me even more dadgum angry because I wasn't looking closely enough to see this back on Wednesday.

Here's the link to Frank's blog, it's a pretty good write up:

Although I think he may have been on the sauce a little bit, heh.

Accuweather met thinks after the pattern change we may turn colder and dry.

He does say he thinks the weeklies are still playing catch up, so there's that.

I like this article even better.

That BS only has Virginia getting cold and dry. Why do we want this? Cold and dry is terrible. I bet we get nothing more than a return to seasonal temps.

Well s***.

Here I was thinking that seasonal January and February temps *were cold.  Just so I understand, are 30's and 40's - with overnight temps in the 20's - considered seasonably mild?

I'm only asking because I'm wearing clothes that would suggest that I am either uncomfortably chilly without them, or I really dig winter wear.  And I'm pretty d*** positive that if I started sewing my corn and cantaloupe seeds, they would audibly ask me what the hell I thought I was doing.

LOL!....I meant a return to average temps for the time of the year. I wasn't saying it was mild.
