nzucker
I think the lower levels may blunt the thanksgiving warmth considerably. It looks cloudy with NE winds and potential showers. The NWS has 56F here, which is a couple ticks above average, but I could see it working out cooler.

weathafella
It looks like the ensembles want some cold coming in 11/28-29 or so. My middle child celebrates his 32nd birthday on 11/29. On the night of his birth, his mother and I with another couple went out to dinner in Marina Del Rey. At one point, his mother got up to use the ladies room and I swear ever person in the restaurant stopped eating and talking and stared at the lady about to give birth. 2 hours later he was born with us barely making it to the hospital. That can be you Scott!

weathafella
LOL, I hope not, but if it happens so be it. When we got home, we had our friends stay at our house while one of them drove the babysitter (for my then 3 yer old) home. They stayed and I returned from the hospital about 2 AM. My 3yo was up with our friends ns got the news first hand. This was a Saturday night and I was working by Monday afternoon after taking my baby son and his mom home in the morning. Glad things are a little better today. I just remember speeding up La Cienega Blvd in pea soup fog on the way to the hospital. Ensembles look good to start December folks. usedtobe
You don't want a +NAO for YYZ. If you have a some sort of a trough out west with a -NAO, that probably means lows coming up through the Ohio valley and even if they redevelop...the primary low will give you snow. Like everything, there can be too much or too little of a good thing. I find it hard to believe a modest -NAO would be bad for YYZ. I agree, I haven't composited anything for yyZ but do have one for the 10 heaviest snow years for CHi and Detroit.

CoastalWx
In Kevin's defense, this week really will not be much warmer than seasonal to maybe a little above at times. With that low hanging out just SE, it will keep his high pressure nrly flow and light mixing nearby.
