For the most part, blind leading the blind. I will say that it's for a good cause as it supports victims of Sandy.

That's a little uncalled for don't you say? I have nothing to Do with this workshop by the way. Just spreading the word as one is happening in my town .

No, I don't think it's uncalled for, You have some of the biggest hype masters on the internet today going to be there, what I would like to see is a nice all day workshop with reps from the National Weather Service, Mount Holly & Upton, The National Hurricane Center, The TPC Storm Surge Unit, Reps from the HPC there's a workshop you could get something out of, an hour and a half workshop ? sounds like to me like a they are running an ad for there services not a workshop.

i dont know what they are actually going to be talking about but from the description its just basic stuff and for people that have little knowledge. Im sure it will be very helpful for those that are just getting into the weather.

Rob Guarino and John Marshall are two very good mets.

Steve D and Rob G seem like hypesters to me, but John Marshall I thought was fairly objective from my memory of him on NBC New York. Unless he's gone downhill into the wishcasting abyss since then.

dont know much about rob but john is still the same. he does his forecasts on facebook.
