Redmorninglight
would be funny if this is a cold, dry winter I have kinda felt that way for a few weeks now. Makes for deep frost lines in the ground. I remember my dad, who worked construction in N Jersey, telling me about the winter of 76-77 where the ground was solid over 36" deep and work just stopped for weeks. I also remember my FIL telling me about water mains freezing and cracking that same year in Cape May. Doubt we see anything that extreme but who knows. eastonwx
would be funny if this is a cold, dry winter ehhhh, no. Other than the snow weenies being depressed another winter (me included), I would dread having to pay for oil
famartin
I know this has been overlooked with everyone focused on the snow potential, but tonight will likely be the coldest night of the season so far.

I'm sure places in northern Jersey would be similarly cold, though, if it wasn't for the clouds.

I'm pulling the trigger to Lake Tahoe plane ticket with my snowboard! You should go to Mt Shasta. The only way I'll be melting down is if the results go the wrong way in certain football games which I have a modest financial investment
