Agree about the weather channel. It's a mockery of meteorology! World domination is in their plans I'm sure lol.

Anyway light snow here just north of the Lehigh valley, light dusting on cars.

Up in mcadoo a few hours ago, heavy snow, close to an inch when I left. Penndot out I'm full force up there.

Maybe ill be lucky and get called out tonight, if not it sure looks like ill be racking up overtime over the next week :D

btw, just moved to northern Lancaster County from Pittston while kind of in between jobs at the moment. Good to be back into an area where we get exciting weather. The Wyoming Valley sucked...at snow and severe storms. (besides a huge flood)...

so a big shout out to all my new neighbors in Lancaster, Lebanon and Berks Counties. Had some on and off flurries today from Hershey to Ephrata.

Good luck in your new location. Severe weather should be infinitely better.

It's amazing what 8 miles and a little elevation can do. I'm in Tamaqua and we have the same light dusting on cars, but just wet roads and sidewalks like you do. McAdoo, however, is our local winter wonderland as it always seems to find a way to accumulate up there.

It wasn't too long ago, and Don Sutherland has a couple pics I took of it on his snow museum website, where they got about 6 inches of heavy snow up there. Here in Tamaqua...plain rain.

Picked an easy inch of fresh pow pow through the night. The skiers are stoked. Winds are howling and blowing the snow around. I see the sunrise peaking through the cloud layer shelf about 20 miles east. The snow flurries and squalls look cool through the distance as varying intensity creates cool streaks to the ground.

Not sure how much more snow we will pick up through the day but once again the lake effect came through for my racers.

Ho ho ho....wait until they see what comes next week!!!
