The Dude
I had a bit of sleet in North Bethesda about an hour ago. Now, it seems to be just light rain.
RevWarReenactor
If it makes you feel any better we were under a winter storm warning in Delaware for 3-5 inches yesterday morning and we ended up with 0.00. Saw a quick burst of snow for about 10 minutes.

Herb@MAWS
Approx 4:30pm on Wed. I was under a hvy shower in Columbia which did provide a few slushy raindrops on the windshield. A whopping .03" for the event.
Riptide
Definitely not a classic mid-atlantic event. I got dryslotted myself. The storm simply trended east at the last minute or was faster than expected. Probably a mix...

mattie g
Bust? The average high yesterday was 61 at DCA and the record snowfall 0.1". We're in a long-term extreme pattern and the Euro was insistent that it would snow. We had high expectations, especially because we have awesome luck with snow. Fozz
10 inches of snow that should have been in someones yard in Maryland or Delaware is in mine. Just want to thank you guys. Cross-forum trolling isn't welcome here. You keep up this crap, and you'll no longer be able to post. Is that clear?

87storms
Cross-forum trolling isn't welcome here. You keep up this crap, and you'll no longer be able to post. Is that clear? I actually find the trolling more entertaining than anything. Nothing like seeing people talk trash over a snowstorm lol. them: "haha we got more snow than you!!" me: "congrats, you're doing better than us in something neither of us have any control over"

Nothing like seeing people talk trash over a snowstorm lol. them: "haha we got more snow than you!!" me: "congrats, you're doing better than us in something neither of us have any control over" That crap is for OT or the banter threads. Generally, if someone from another region is going to post here, it better be something useful or positive. This is the same crap that ski MRG pulled not too long ago and we all know how that ended. mattie g
This nor'easter sure was a bummer for the mid-Atlantic...so damn close, then the football was pulled away from Charlie Brown and throws it to me where I score 10 inches. Also heard you were stumping to be a moderator here...how did that work out? Would you just shut the f*** up?

Fozz
You should have seen it here yesterday, absolutely unbelievable. First came those big potato chip flakes, tons of them, blowing in the strong northerly to north easterly winds. Damn was it rocking. That was around 10:30 am. Really brought the temps down, left a nice base for the rest of the 8 to 9 inches to fall. Didn't stop rocking until like dawn this morning, crazy. Serious damage to my pine tree also. Was so happy to be part of such a historic SNOW event, wow...make that 2 years in a row. Please stick to NeWxFx
Fozz
You know what stuck pretty good yesterday? The snow I received yesterday, probably because the intensity, didn't have a chance to melt and the temp just dropped and dropped. I was so surprised. Was looking forward to seeing the pictures coming out of VA, DE and MD....then it shifted and I was able to look at my own yard.
