The CBS station in CT just named the storm... Ari... now we have 2 names for this nor'easter. What a disaster.

WHAT IN GOD'S NAME is going on?? I thought everyone thought an Inch at best a day ago here. I have 5"!! This may be the Greatest percentage difference from what was forecast to what I've got that I have seen since I started following winters10+ yeras ago. Even Dec. 16th, 2007 I expected 2-4 and got 10. I remember a storm in 2005 where I expected 0-1 and 4. But this is unreal. Someone on here has a Foot!!??

And - WHAT is up with naming storms! I guess people just can't be statistical like all of us and just Remember the dates of storms, unless they were important enough storms to be called things like the Blizzard of 2011, PD II, or Ray's ScrewSnowStrom (Blizzard of 2009. Sorry Ray)

Wow, look at the winds ramping up on the Cape and ACK...52 knots and 48 knots

Check out the seas.

Definitely still some IP here right now, mostly melted. Just shot some thrilling video of ice running down my window. Doesn't sound like much but it's impressive for 11/7 this close to the water.

One of these noreasters a few of you guys are going to have to come down and experience the winds. The 0 to 150' incline does some crazy stuff.

The near 40 knots sustained is prob more impressive than the G48 and G52...this storm means business out there. Saw pics of Plymouth on TV earlier and the ocean looked ridiculous.
