I'm at school at UConn in Storrs, home should be getting nailed right now though, there's a very nice band that set up shop directly over my house lol. I'm afraid we might be cooked soon at UConn though, that dryslot is nasty!

The only thing that should be getting nailed right now is............;)

Long and strong winter coming. Good luck and finish strong.

Snowing in Portland and Wiscasset now too.

Looks like some decent bands moving into Southern Maine.

MHT has a dewpoint fo 10F, lol. Not sure its snowing there or anywhere north...maybe higher terrain is choking out a few flakes. PSM finally started snowing...mixing with RA.

Wow, 10F. Didn't even notice that. Watching this evolve is honestly brutal lol.

At least ORH breaks a record. Any idea how FIT is doing?

FIT has been a disaster. They have been choking on the dry air. They are finally making more progress though with SN- and 35/20 now. You are prob benefitting from some upslope moistening too W of FIT in addition to elevation.

This batch moving passed the canal now has ice cores in the rain. First time in a few hours, very evident for a minute or two as they were visible sliding down the window as the heaviest precip passed. FWIW.

Right on. Initial melting is taking place at the height of the beam out by ACK (~8000 ft), falling as liquid to the surface, shown by the uniform CC values over the Cape. But then you have that batch right over the canal and CC drops again. Evidence of refreezing taking place.
