HIPPYVALLEY
If you want to talk about that, get your mind out of New England. New Jersey is getting slammed right down to the coast right now. That's significant Yeah, true,, their getting warning criteria snows before much of NNE or upstate NY has seen a coating or even flakes this year. Amazing weather week for S. CT to S. NJ. Amazing. N. OF PIKE
Just went to the store, roads are not that good at all, they were wet, then froze and are now snow packed. I don't think the town had any clue about snow, heck nws upton had all rain as late as 10 am for our area. 4.5 inches of snow on the deck. Hopefully we can get to around 8 inches, this band means business. riding climo FTL (upton) best model in the world show'd cold 850's

Mr. Windcredible!
After watching locations west of me cash in all day, finally have eeked out 2-2.5" here...including some on roads. No WWA from NWS here...<0.5" in the forecast...I know the storm has overperformed but not sure why the lack of an update here. Looks like the heaviest may begin winding down soon though. Mr. Windcredible!
There were times around 12 to 1 that there was zero visibility on 95 going north towards West Haven, visibility also came down a ton between 4-6 pm. Absolutely remarkable, won't be able to sleep as long as it's snowing. I needed this, been kind of down for a few months, last night put me in a bad mood....then boom. This little ditty rocks me for the better part of a day. Congrats! What do u have on ground?

rivers
5 inches (average of about 10 measurements), as of like an hour ago. your doing really good over there..with all the wind blowing around and with it snowing moderate again its hard to measure, but somewhere in the 3-4 inch range seems about right. Probably like 3/4SM stuff maybe spot 1/2SM. However it is sort of fighting drier air and weakening dynamics.

As we discussed dry air loses battle and is shunted north as storm moves NE a bit and rots. Time to rip
weatherMA
I think weakening dynamics with time and seriously dry air mass we're going to have trouble getting much precip as far west as our forecast may say. I'd feel a lot better about seeing measurable accumulation we're I'm at on the coast actually. Thanks. I was surprised to see the accumulations increased to say the least. I'd be happy with a coating.
