grinch1989
According to the RAP I have hours and hours of 35 TO 40 DBZ snows still to go tonight. Someone may throw up double digits in the morning...
SouthCoastMA
Rain. SE penetrating Rain/snow lines are sloooooow. I don't even bother with them anymore. Usually it waits to collapse this far until the heavy precip is through.

mattb65
Just walked my buddy to the door as he was leaving so I could get a better look. Snowing hard! Accumulating....probably AOB freezing. I'd have never believed this....in Boston....11/7. Someone pinch me. Same here fella - I can barely believe it. I feel bad for Scott, it's literally probably about a mile or less from snow to rain and he's on the wrong side of that line.

cycloneslurry
precip bands lightening up now even to the south maybe the low is occluding now and beginning to wind down? anyway...most of the northeast can take solace that most other missed out on the heavy snow the snow maps for this one will have a very narrow focus...central conn will be the only place over 2 inches anywhere it seems

I think we see snow moderate to heavy at times for at least another 6 hours east of 91.

wxmanmitch
Interesting little band in Columbia County NY that is nearly stationary. Very likely a frontogenesis/deformation band as that is not an orographically favored area in a nor'easter.

CapturedNature
Just got home after going out - snow is really ripping here - 1" in the last hour. I think we're going to see measurements all over the place because I have 2.7" on my snow board but on grassy surfaces there was 4-5".

EastBayWx
SE penetrating Rain/snow lines are sloooooow. I don't even bother with them anymore. Usually it waits to collapse this far until the heavy precip is through. The rain/ snow line on I-195 was in Swansea, Mass. Heavy snow and 32 F west of the state line and 38 F w/ driving rain east of it. It sucks living on this side of the coastal fronts. I left Providence in a whiteout and I'm dealing with heavy rain here just 15 miles southeast.

cycloneslurry
very tough storm to predict just two days ago WHDH called for temps in the 50's and rain everywhere with snow in the berks this morning philly had the only wsw's in the entire northeast...calling for 6+ there...it is raining there with zero accumulation finally...after hours of virga and snowholes..my weather channel forecast on the 8's is now calling for 3-5 inches in the bedford-framingha-maynard area but there is not even 1/4 inch on the ground and the snow stopped two hours ago...lot of mets looking bad on this one
