ORH_wxman
Looks like its coming down pretty good at 600 feet in ORH at holy cross on their webcam. Starting to stick to the pavement there. Should be pretty snowy back home a few hundred feet higher. http://www.holycross.edu/webcam/

wxmanmitch
Ugh...dry air continues to win the battle here. That band is just getting eaten alive as it tries to push in here. Nothing more than off and on flurries here. This may be a fail for GC and on up into NH. Saw a picture from Becket on my Twitter feed to my SE and it looks like they have a solid 1/2" there with that band.

CoastalWx
So the tug east definitely helps in preventing too much dry air from wrapping in (that stays a little more south). Better frontogenesis is then focused obviously further east and south. The SW CT action was in NJ yesterday after the 12z runs

RIcoastalWX
34/31 - Light to Moderate Snow. After hours of a light mixture of rain and snow, we have finally switched over to all snow. Car tops and deck getting a coating. Temps and dews have been falling all day - winds have recently veered more towards the NNE as opposed to an earlier NE wind. radarman
Nary a flake yet, Chris. How about in Greenfield? My wife told me it started in Amherst about an hour ago(?), and she also said that GCC canceled classes this evening. A bit extreme? Snow in the air finally but little else.
