Ericjcrash
I was wrong, didn;t expect to keep the rates that high that long. 7" here. I thought last year was historic, that was a joke. Goodnight all, good job everyone. BTW shot up to 36 here.
famartin
3.5" is the final back home in Ewing... The first 3.3 melted down to 0.71" liquid.
patrick05
well... light snow again here with nicely sized flakes... that band over the sound looks business, hope its snow!
Guest Pamela
3.2" at 2:05 AM...but some warmer air has circulated in...temp now 33.9 F...even with flow from the north...not strange with even the Gulf of Maine still having a water temp near 50 F...or maybe, more simply, from the persistent flow off the mid 50's Sound and the offshore storm's decaying circulation... Snowing hard here...may have to add to the 3.2"'s.
Snow_Miser
One town to my north at 1030 reported a snowfall of 5.3 inches. That's probably how much I have total, though it snowed a bit more past 1030 here.
wxman
6.25" total.
bluewave
An amazing 8.0 inches of snow for so early in the season here in Western Nassau.
Snow_Miser
I measured six inches total right now on the grass. Accounting for any compacting and melting, my total is probably closer to 6.5 or so inches. Awesome storm. More than the October Snowstorm here where I got 5 or so inches during that system. Guest Pamela
Snowing hard here...may have to add to the 3.2"'s. Tacked on another 3/10ths of an inch the last few hours...still snowing...storm total now 3.5 inches.

NorEaster27
I measured 6 inches again this morning after melting and compacting so I have to figure I had at least 7 at the peak
ag3
This was an odd storm for them. They barely got below 34F; most of the time they were 34-35. Lol. They had 4-5" minimum. I just passed the entrance of LGA and there is 4" on the grass that says Welcome to LGA. I wish I had a ruler in my car. I would've had my wife take a picture of the sign with a ruler in the ground and sent it to the NWS. LGA is an embarrassment to the weather community. In the past Upton has tossed and changed snow totals from LGA. I hope they do it again.
Sundog
About 8 inces of snow in central Queens. Limbs and powerlines down everywhere. Meanwhile a giant branch fell on my car and dented my roof and broke off my mirror. I'm still blaming Sandy!
Sampson
Measured a little over 8 inches on my snow board a few minutes ago. I'm sure there was some compaction so it was probably closer to 9 inches here in NW Nassau.
