jm1220
As the low occludes and begins to stack, snow should begin to focus along several deformation bands. Looks like two nasty ones-one over central NJ and one over W LI, NYC and CT. These bands should pivot around somewhat, but these are likely the areas that will jackpot. Luckily for us it's getting dark and temps are near 32, meaning most of what falls should stick.
Superstorm93
I theory, that area of heavier echoes should work westward over the next few hours. Wouldn't be shocked to see new deformation bands set up when the low starts to stack itself.

famartin
NJ 31/I-95 back home... that sure started to stick fast. Now I guess the big question is what happens now that its getting dark, will the lighter rates still accumulate or will it piddle around again. jm1220
They need to update that as I already have 3 inches here in Western Nassau. If this banding keeps up some places even on Long Island could make it to 6". It's almost night time now and temps should stay near freezing or even 30-31, which will allow more snow to accumulate.
