_AR_
At 3pm, it seemed like a rain/snow mix on rt22 near ABE. Maybe it was just very wet snow... In saylorsburg(location on map) just flurries so far.

famartin
NJ 31/I-95 back home... that sure started to stick fast. Now I guess the big question is what happens now that its getting dark, will the lighter rates still accumulate or will it piddle around again. wolfie09
Almost 2" here in freehold Mount holly .AN AREA OF HEAVIER SNOW AFFECTING THE REGION...AT 4:30 PM, NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR AND SURFACE OBSERVATIONS INDICATED AN AREA OF HEAVIER SNOW OCCURRING ACROSS OCEAN AND MONMOUTH COUNTIES AND INTO SOUTHEASTERN BURLINGTON COUNTY. THERE HAVE BEEN REPORTS OF UP TO 2 INCHES OF SNOW WITHIN THIS AREA, WITH EVEN SOME SLUSH ON THE ROADWAYS. THE WET CONSISTENCY OF THE SNOW WILL ALLOW FOR IT TO STICK TO TREES AND POWER LINES, WHICH COULD RESULT IN SOME DOWNED TREE LIMBS AND RENEWED POWER OUTAGES. IN ADDITION, UNTREATED SURFACES WILL HAVE SOME SNOW ON THEM RESULTING IN SLIPPERY CONDITIONS. THE VISIBILITY WILL BE REDUCED TO AROUND ONE-HALF OF A MILE AT TIMES. USE CAUTION WHILE DRIVING THROUGH THIS EVENING, ESPECIALLY ON SECONDARY ROADWAYS, BRIDGES AND OTHER ELEVATED SURFACES. http://forecast.weather.gov/showsigwx.php?warnzone=NJZ013&warncounty=NJC025&firewxzone=NJZ013&local_place1=&product1=Special+Weather+Statement

Voyager
Nothing at all in Tamaqua. In fact the overcast was so thin I was able to see an amber hue to the clouds as the sun was setting. So frustrating.

jrodd321
I'd say that was the last straw. That band coming from Trenton plowed through NE Philly and then just fell apart like every other band today once it got to Montgomery/Delco Counties. Just not our day guys. Enjoy the in Jersey. cast4
Nothing at all in Tamaqua. In fact the overcast was so thin I was able to see an amber hue to the clouds as the sun was setting. So frustrating. Same here out in Lanco. I'm not disappointed at all though. It's november, anything would have been a bonus.
famartin
Yeah, sorry PTW, ABE, RDG, etc... even PHL proper, doesn't look like this is your day.

Yeah it's obvious the jackpot zone will be eastern NJ. A 25dbz band finally made it here but it's collapsing already. Storm just isn't far enough west to sustain the stronger vv's. rgwp96
about 2 inches here, temp 31. wish i can get some heavy bands though. they dont seem to budge west much
Blizzard-on-GFS
Really amazed how sharp this qpf gradient has been. Major bust for eastern P.A., looks like areas progged for around an inch of 1" of qpf will be lucky to see 0.25". Hopefully NJ will be able to cash in on this at the very least. Isotherm
Well in the short term at least, seems like the GFS did well. NAM and Euro still had decent snows in PHL as of the 12z runs today, while the 12z GFS backed off significantly for DE River westward.
Voyager
Really amazed how sharp this qpf gradient has been. What nor'easter over the past few years hasn't had a sharp gradient???
Blizzard-on-GFS
Had 6 here in Rofo today. 6 Flakes. Beat you I'm thinking between 6-9 we might have a chance to see a quick inch. We'll see, I'm not expecting anything at this point so any accumulations will be a surprise. Monmouth county is getting schmacked, wouldn't be surprised to see someone hit the 6" mark there.
