wolfie09
Just a little excited, yes. I have pics on iPhone and will upload to flicker when this tapers off. The 8" measurement was an average from several spots so the 9 + at this point is unofficial. There is another member on this board less than 1/2 mile away and he is posting similar results. You are correct, this was taken almost 2 hrs ago http://forums.accuwe...=post&id=175593 Also posted to the NWS facebook page
Isotherm
Well, that part of NJ, anyway. West Milford had 19" last October, and a good number of other sites had 10-15" in northwest Jersey. Yeah I should have said coastal central NJ, which didn't receive more than an inch or so from last October's event. Western NJ is catching snows from both events - lucky them. Meanwhile the 30-35 dbz banding continues for Mercer-Monmouth.
JERSEYSNOWROB
now up to 7 inches exactly here in the Morganville section of Marlboro, NJ

I would say Northeastern Jersey is lucking out most, some areas had 5-7" last October and have gotten more than that today. Of course Ewing did "relatively" poorly in both... 3.2" last October and 1.7" so far today.

I believe it too because when I was out there walking the dog you could hear tree branches snapping off every 5 minutes. btw, I heard people were stuck on Rt 9 North in Freehold trying to get up and over the overpass that goes over Throckmorton rd by that Days Inn there. ha ha ha No plows on the roads at all. Total mess.

Blizzard-on-GFS
It's almost comical how badly central montgomery county got the shaft lol. If you look at the radar there is a huge dry slot over us! We can't even get in on the light stuff in PA right now. Well you can't win them all! Pictures are truly awesome from NJ, congrats guys. NJHurricane
(from NYC thread, had to repost to my "home" subforum) Just got to my brother's place in North Brunswick after working since 6 am in Newark. Quite the ride...roads were nasty but passable..biggest danger driving is the very uneven driving conditions over even short sections of road...wet to slushy to packed snow in the space of feet, not miles. Most road signs unreadable from wind blown pasting of snow....some trees bending under weight along my route. Many of my coworkers from monmouth county got calls from home about power being out from about 5pm on. I think a bit over 4 inches here right now....too tired to measure. I remember saying in the philly thread yesterday that these deformation bands especially in marginal temp situations...are so hard to nail...seemed like every model run targeted a different sub-region within the BWI to NYC corridor...so glad I opted to leave at 10pm instead of midnight. Isotherm
Well we may not have broken snowfall records in PA, but I think we'll break a record for most consecutive hours with snow falling in November. Light snow, 33F, pushing 12.5 hours now.
