Damage In Tolland
BOX is saying early afternoon for south of the Pike, so based on that, seems like holding off is not in the cards. Seeing the radar (probably virga) already approaching Philadelphia would also keep me from holding my breath on that one. I think this is going to just truck on through with the primary question of how much can fall prior to any phase change. It won't hold off till dark. Should start in Ct noonish
CoastalWx
I still think wrn areas will do fairly well. 2-4 there, maybe a spot 5 in highest spots. Elsewhere 1-3 or so with maybe a 4 spot in nrn ORH hills possible. I feel like some curves will be thrown here, and as usual..some screwed and others do ok. TalcottWx
Good luck. I'd like to see some NAM type amounts, but that's pretty much an outlier. Think we both cash in on this one. Just a hunch. Enjoy it!
HoarfrostHubb
Temps warmed up quite a bit overnight. Now up to 31 with some wind Hope it can maintain low 30s fir a while

snowman21
...WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM EST THURSDAY... THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MOUNT HOLLY HAS ISSUED A WINTER STORM WARNING FOR SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM EST THURSDAY. THE WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT. * ACCUMULATIONS...SNOW ACCUMULATION OF 3 TO 5 INCHES. I didn't realize PHI's WSW snowfall criteria was this low. Regardless, nice to see the color on the map and congrats! It's 5 inches compared to your 7. Issued low end warning for first storm of the season and impact which lets them bend the rules a bit, as this would be an advisory under normal circumstances even for the Philly area. CoastalWx
I drove through the CF right in downtown BOS. Wind was howling at my house on the SE side of the city, while only a modest NNE wind just to the north. Ray might want to keep an eye on that. Don't focus on the higher amounts, just saying it could happen in spots. This will come down to banding placement and I think it "favors" wrn MA and CT. CoastalWx
Awesome CAD display in the ORH hills into CT. Highs will not be much more than they are now. Precip will likely start as snow, not much time wasted.

CoastalWx
Coastal front is just NW of BOS. What a difference though in terms of winds. Absolute howl of the wind when I left, and then cross over stable coastal front, not much at all.
