Mr Torchey
Very worried about this stalling south of long island, would pile water into western sound on east winds regardless of low astro tides

CoastalWx
The lead s/w is a little less intense and weaker ridging ahead of the s/w allow for a more erly track. It still wraps up kind of early, but the further east track means a colder solution.
CoastalWx
Shoot even I might see some..lol. That is snow for Kevin and Will. We still have the issue of the banded mess, but a step better anyways.

CoastalWx
So does it take the snow threat away from DC up thru NW Jersey and shift it east? Well the heaviest stuff is shifted east. So perhaps more MD into Philly and up into western NE. However, it's still disjointed looking on the QPF fields. While people shouldn't get too hung up over that, I would like this whole thing to go to town a little further north instead of a few hundred miles south. It's still an overall colder run, thanks to a less intense low and further east track.

Any farther east and many folks are out of the game We'll probably see some more adjustments. Don't forget that s/w on the backside of the trough in the Midwest is also having a say on where this tracks.
