I'm thinking that the projections are overdone for Berks/Lehigh. Starting to think we may see nothing

I wouldn't say we won't be seeing anything; but 4 - 6" is way, way overdone for our area. Heck, possibly even 3" may be a tad overdone. Probably over the next hour or so that dry air mass will break and preicp will begin flooding in.

Strange that it doesn't look like Reading/Berks/Lehigh will get in on the snow, but Lebanon just had an advisory issued

Like I said, right now its hitting a brick wall with the dry air in place. Once that breaks, precip will start spreading in. We may not get in on the heavier stuff and the deformation band probably won't set up over us, but if we can squeeze an inch out of this I would still call this a success.

Snow and sleeting down here at the Atlantic City International Airport. Down right nasty. Wait till these winds really pickup. With that snow flying later today into tonight will look like a blizzard out there..

Wow impressive. Up here in NE Philly it started to come down & then just went to rain/sleet, but snow mixing back in. It's really dependent on the heavy bands. When it was snowing moderately it started to put a glaze on my deck and my car.

Looks like you need to be at the walt whitman and points to the southeast. Towns to the southwest like chester, boothwyn and even ridley look like they will get shafted.

Radar looking disorganized also. Perhaps things are rebuilding. Will give it some time.

Any reports south of PHL? That band means business..even if it looks like some bright banding.

Euro did shift east, but still a good hit near and especially just east of Philly. Adam's MIV could be getting pounded if the warmer air can hold off.

im in that same band by phl. We have sleet and snow. Oddly enough the temp is rising in that band. Seems like their deff is a warm nose somewhere in the mid levels.

I'm gonna be the one to say it... the GFS and NAM seem to have overdone the low level cold air. Maybe that's because they overdid the precip rate, not sure, but its definitely a smidge milder than I expected it to be right now. And a smidge makes all the difference at these temps. Reminds me of last February 11th...

I won't lie - I'm hoping we get at least something. Dry Air mass is as stubborn as my neighbor. Not only that, but isn't this thing trekking off more so

east than anticipated?

At work driving the truck so I have brief moments where I can get on line. Just looking at recent radar and reading some of the discussion, it does look and seem to be a bit east.

FWIW. In far northeastern Northampton County. Looking east across the Delaware and, while no precip. is falling here, I can see the hills to the East fading. So some snow is finally approaching the PA/NJ border at our latitude.

Yea, I hear ya. I'm not saying we WONT get anything here, but it sure is taking a heck of a time getting here. Places literally 15 minutes to our east are already seeing snowfall. So close, yet so far. :P Even just by looking on radar its having a heck of a time breaking past Clinton area on 78.
