TWC just named this storm "Winter Storm Athena". On visible, I think it looks subtropical, with covection firing just NW of center, east of VA Capes:

That's actually pretty irresponsible on TWC's part naming this storm so close to last week's tropical system. Folks in the affected area may think it's going to be another storm similar in character and magnitude as Sandy.
