turtlehurricane
A second and more intense band appears to be developing behind the first one in WI. Also, the back edge has stopped propagating eastwards, it's stuck near the IA/WI border.

This band is slowly beginning to impinge on some drier air, NAM also shows a region of low level dry air over northern IN which may be injecting into the low levels. Possible that does but a kabash on anything greater than a few inches even with the heavy echoes.

Now under 25+dbz and still SN- with tiny flakes, i've been under 15 dbz lake bands that were twice as intense. daddylonglegs
Some of the fluffiest snow i've seen in the past 45 minutes. Huge flakes. Really pretty snow event. These are my favorite. Those big huge blizzard concrete mixers are cool, but these light snows are so much easier to deal with (no back surgery needed).
