I have just enough elevation so even though I'm on the coast it would still take a tremendous surge to pose a problem for me personally. The police did claim a 17.5 ft surge was coming when they came by to evacuate which admittedly made me a little bit nervous and had me watching the water all night. Others in the neighborhood not so lucky with water as high as chest deep in some spots, but coastal flood damage was pretty limited compared to other coastal places in town and LL's hood where it's much flatter and lower in elevation. You still w/out power? Tough night to have no power. He probably gusted to 65. He tends to hype up if his BY is affected and then mute it if his BY is not affected.
