Cox was in and out during the Cowbags game yesterday, thankfully.

ravensrule
IN 8 minutes another 8.000 BGE peeps bit the dust. It's still alot better than i thought, we will probably be at about only 300,000 by the time the storm ends. I thought it would be closer to 700,000. Got Haggis?
Lights have yet to flicker in downtown Baltimore. I am also in Mt Vernon and was expecting power to go out. I think the derecho took out all the 'problem' trees. Haven't had one flicker this evening at all. Winds don't seem as bad as Isabel to me, although I'm shielded by another building this time. KAOS
I've never seen my lights flicker at all. My wife said they did while I was in the shower. I could not find evidence that on my network. This being a few miles from the bay.
mdhokie
It's still alot better than i thought, we will probably be at about only 300,000 by the time the storm ends. I thought it would be closer to 700,000. I think so much had to be rebuilt this summer, that it might have really helped out for this storm. Also just think of all the trees they cleared after the derecho. Some areas are still getting hit hard though. Look at Baltimore City and North, just around the beltway. Don Cherry's Jacket
I gotta say, so far the power companies have been doing a lot better than I would have thought. Agreed. But we're the sample of people still online. My neighborhood is on, but the one across the street is clearly dark. Wild howling right now in McLean.
