I didn't really think we lost that much. It seemed that the column saturated and cooled very quickly. Been getting gusts to near 30, but snow is still caked on everything. It will hopefully be a great scene in the morning. Interesting report from the NWS - got .5" in an hour there with .03 water content. Small sample size and all, but if we can pull some 15:1 ratios we could overperform. Yet at the moment some 35DBZ's are ripping in Northern Allegheny. It looks like all of Pittsburgh metro is going to do pretty well. Time to crash for 3 hours.... Seeing 9" and 10" reportd in Armstrong and Westmoreland County as that band lingered up there. That looks like it will try to drop south to put the icing on our cake.
