EasternUSWX
Will radar fill back in you think? Nice sustained winds now in Ship Eventually ya. I think a big blob of rain will form near the center which then comes in later. I think our worst winds will be 8pm-5am. They were not supposed to get bad till landfall on the models anyway which haven't happened yet till the low got to about Lancaster.
JamieOber
seems like the worst is just getting here Reading wmsptwx's posts about how it's not bad north of southern PA while you don't have power and your windows are rattling in central PA is IMO the epitome of the Central PA AmericanWx experience. Voyager
I just can't believe how calm it is here at the present time. It's almost unbelievable. Winds have to be less than 10 mph currently, and it's been that way for nearly an hour. Does anyone know how it can be so calm here compared to other areas both west and east of me that are still experiencing high winds?
canderson
All my local channels are out - just get a black screen. Guess the dish is misaligned. Shocking! sauss says worst is about here - seems the sustained winds are higher now. Last I read was by 2 a.m. the HBG region wind will have passed the peak - is that right? I don't buy it. Hahahaha funniest thing posted all evening. Looking at the latest PPL power outage map, it appears like outages are dramatically begin to increase in frequency across south-central PA. A couple thousand additional averages just alone in the last 15 minutes.

EasternUSWX
This storm is a pretty big let down for me. Nothing but a cold rain. Wind element sucked. I don't know how Harrisburg is getting whipped while here we struggle to maintain a 15mph breeze.
