canderson
PPL's restored power to those that had lost it in Dauphin County. How the heck did they do that in this weather?!
EasternUSWX
Honestly we aren't even close to the center yet lol. Surface winds recon is finding 85mph and flight level 115mph. When this get into NJ is when it will really get bad. I expect a rapid deterioration around 6ish.

MAG5035
Just dropped my car off at my g-parents to get it out of the way in case we start losing trees. It's getting quite bad out. All kinds of crap all over the roads and streams are rising fast. I'd say winds are gusting 45-50 quite consistently now. Probably will try to get some videos before dark. pasnownut
I have a cornfield in the back of my property and with the winds out of the northeast believe me when I say that in the last hour the winds have really started to pick up. Frequent gusts must be in excess of 55-60mph. sustained winds also are seeming to be in the 40mph range. BTW I live in Akron, Lancaster Pa. Hunker down ya'll. canderson
ABC27 guys completely contradicting the NHC. ABC says storm is moving faster and will continue to move faster, heavy winds will be over by 2 a.m. for the most part. NHC says storm will get here and stall, with heavy winds lasting here until late Tuesday evening.

MAG5035
Here's a veloctiy image you'll hardly ever see for this area. Widespread 55-70 knots in the lowest few thousand feet. Couple spikes up over 100kts just north of Williamsport at 4000ft beam height. Prolly translates to bout the 800-850mb level.
LVblizzard
The website still shows 36 http://climate.met.p...ker/walker.html That seems a little low considering how fast the trees are blowing around outside.

Blizzard92
Strongest gusts now. I am up at school currently in Ithaca, NY but my folks back in Linglestown are reporting an increasing frequency in the power flickering. And the neighbor's tree just fell in half. What do you estimate the winds to be?
