Sock Puppet
Surprisingly despite these winds, looking out my window, not one tree's down. None stop flashing from transformers blowing all over Brooklyn and Queens

Guest Pamela
It seems like its marginally improved now the last 20 minutes but its very gradual if that. I'd say the same here in north central Suffolk...stilly windy, but not the ferocity of two to three hours ago...so far, one of my fences has been leveled, but I can't see anything else beyond that...(the darkness does not help)

HurricaneJosh
Y'all know this but the Hudson just breached around W 20th Street and into Chelsea. That is some serious sh*t. Same here in Western Nassau with frequent power flashes off in the distance. We heard some very loud transformer booms over the last few hours. NYCSuburbs
It goes in and out. Refresh the page and see if it comes back. It just came back. They said that over 2 million people in NJ-NYC-LI-CT are without power. All of these stories seem like a real life horror move - all of this was unimaginable just 2 weeks ago.
