I wouldn't be surprised if its still bad in other areas. 3G/Lte is seperate from voice, it has to be the congestion of the network...it can only handle so much at once. I've never seen wind gusts like this in my life, and those rain bands near Toms River may lift north over the area over the next several hours. Having trouble reaching family Verizon is very intermittent mostly not working here in Brooklyn can't imagine manhattan would be better. Try texting those seem to go thru better.
