It is about a block from the East River, must have gotten flooded out, good thing they evacuated all the patients. How far are the waters down 23rd? I knew when I saw water coming up into the park this morning we were in trouble. Yea I wanted to say more like the lower third of Manhattan. The flooding is unbelievable right now just incredible! The building is oriented on a diangle so it obstructs 23rd street from my view, I would have to guess that the entire FDR service road is underwater at least. She described is as "going nuts". She says it's the worst wind she's seen in twenty years living in that 'hood. Of course I told her not to leave the house.
