I've been here for over 16 years and don't remember sustained winds this strong in all that time. I think in my sig it says somewhere in the low 30's but that's 500 feet below me in a sheltered spot at the high school. I'm just below the top of a hill exposed to the E-SE and it's just incredible! Butler power has necessarily shut down the feeders into Smoke Rise due to numerous hazards. Bucket Trucks have been pulled due to high winds and hazardous conditions.
