It's going to depend on the tides and the timing/alignment with the tides as well. The observed rises at The Battery are very concerning given the short term modeled switch to southeast winds and improved mixing of strong winds aloft.

The HRRR also indicates the highest inland gust potential (As well as along the s facing shores) similarly to the NAM ...between 7 and 10 pm with better ability to mix down the strong winds aloft. 80m winds increase from 50kts to 70 kts at 00z-02z.

Hey earth, any idea as to the answers of what I asked before in my previous post? I'm very interested in the answer. This is all new to me ! (Many of us I'm sure)
