A lot of the winds are being mixed down by heavy rain, and I think core of LLJ is SE of you. Give it another hour or two, but know you guys weren't supposed to get the brunt obviously. Meanwhile, record surges on the MA/RI south coasts.

CTWeatherFreak
I'm afraid my bedroom windows are going to blow in...holy crap Yeah.. The wind, jet engine like, and the rain against the windows up here has been wild for over an hour now. Im guessing its related to that persistent NW to SE diagonal convective looking band stretching across the state. Have seen just a couple of power flickers. Might be heresy on a weather forum, but id be happy for dead calm now so long as we held on to the power!
Logan11
Here also... Gusty, but we see more than this on multiple occasions on nw winds behind departing lows. Pretty meh so far... but a few good gusts after the letup

The side of my bedroom where i have windows faces East (towards Hartford) so tghe wind is blowing right at them...during a few of the gusts one of the windows was bending inward if they blow in I'm getting cut most likely. You might consider applying masking tape across the window, for safety. That band radar band stretching from NW to SE is still there, hardly moving.. Yet, in the last 10 minutes or so, the wind seems to have dropped off considerably.
