wxsniss
Marshfield along with tree in yard. But, they lose trees all the time..lol. Ouch hope they're ok. My rents in Philly suburbs bracing, I think it's likely they'll lose power. I'm very impressed by the gusts in Boston metro. Major saving grace so far has been low precipitation... if ground we're soaked, I'm sure we'd have significantly more power outage already. Still expecting best stuff 5-8pm with 925mb winds 80-90kts and LLJ moving through.
ineedsnow
I had it happen to me when I was outside I was thinking the same thing I've been out on my front porch the last 90 mins..and your ears really pop..I wonder if that's due to the low pressure? ChrisM
keep the awesome obs coming...I'm living this event through you guys right now. Trees basically staying still here for 10 minutes at a time. If someone could take video that'd be awesome.

Mr Torchey
Folks in Stamford lost power around noon. They say winds gusting like crazy around there and the sound is absolutely going nuts. Most of the town is without power as well 13% of the town is without power as of me typing this post, how does that come close to most of the town? ORH_wxman
BOS hit 54 knots again a little while ago...we'll see if they can break past that mark in the next 2 hours as the core of the LLJ rotates north.
bobbutts
I've been out on my front porch the last 90 mins..and your ears really pop..I wonder if that's due to the low pressure? It's pressure change that makes your ears pop, so if your pressure is falling rapidly...

Clinch Leatherwood
Massive lull here now. Maybe blowing 20? Worst damage is right on the water. Trees are used to the wind here, short and stubby. Lots of wires down to invidual homes. The damage on the immediate coast is as bad as I have seen, once u get 1/3 a mile inland it's no big deal at all.
