Mr. Windcredible!
Any link to see the power outages? Maybe a map representation? I feel like I'm on borrowed time here...large (leafed) oaks are just bending too much for comfort. I feel ya man. I was just hoping to make it past noon and so far we're holding strong 3 hours later save for a couple of pretty good flickers. Gusts are still ramping up...so its only a matter of time. Clinch Leatherwood
We keep taking a beating but we must have some fabulous infrastructure. I can hear transformers booming in the distance yet no problems here. We've lost it maybe 10 times for up to 30 seconds before they switch it over. ROOSTA
Tropical models really did a good job. NHC fail on not have hurricane warnings, epic fail. This can be debated. They can not justify. The deepest most expansive cyclone EVER, and is a hurricane at LF. Enough said. Starting to feel tropical out there now.

mattb65
What? I'm driving through a TS. One of the worst commutes. Same here, just drove home from the hospital, huge wind gusts, heavy rain. winds sustained at 40G53 at the airport and seems like ground truth is pretty similar here. Saw a few big trees down in West Rox (sorry wiz don't know the street name). Streets had some big time ponding in spots from that short stint of heavy rain. Lucky to not be on the rainy side of this thing. So far power is still on luckily.
