Damage In Tolland

Winds are beginning to rock on RI south shore. Ocean is wild. No anemometer but couldn't walk against gusts by beach. Expect close to 60mph. Unfortunately it is close to low tide but tide never went out. Still close to dune line, tremendous amount of sea foam being blown. Wind seems to be shifting more northeast / east from this am's north. If east by tonight's high tide, big coastal flooding. Lost power about half an hour ago. Generator going( house wired) .

Winds are strong here and the power keeps flickering making rebooting my computer a pain. The local mets are now going with lower maximum wind gusts in Northern Connecticut in the 55-60mph range and less damage impact due to non-foliated tree's. Supposedly this is due to Sandy's southern track and approach to A/C?
