SP
Scroll down you will see the latest wind gust.. Has reset now down to 53. I was looking there. I have the same for my station. I saw a 47 a few seconds ago. That's right off the bay there. Years back there was a great restaurant over there....waters edge I think. Same winds across from good luck on the ocean. Harbourton
Based on doppler radar, 10 inches so far in a small section of Virginia. Seems like a line extending north is setting up for heaviest rains. Neat radar loop from Mt Holly NWS THE RAIN SHIELD TO THE NORTHWEST OF THE CENTER CONTINUES TO SLOWLY BACK INLAND, HOWEVER A FRONTAL BOUNDARY AT THE SURFACE DRAPED NOT TO FAR TO OUR WEST REMAINS AND APPEARS TO BE PARTIALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR A NORTH-SOUTH ORIENTATED BAND OF ENHANCED RAINFALL. THIS NEARLY LOOKS TO BE SOME SORT OF DEFORMATION AXIS THAT HAS SETUP FOR THE TIME BEING AND MAY MARK THE LOCATION OF WHERE THE HEAVIEST RAIN ENDS UP PIVOTING LATER ON. NJHurricane
Last few frames of the IR loop look like she may have started to turn N? http://www.ssd.noaa..../flash-avn.html I would say so...not that she's done with any NE wobbles...also evidenced when I zoom in on the Northeast on weathertap regional...otherwise the center of her would have gone out of the frame.
