Voyager
It has been rather calm here in Tamaqua for about the past 45 minutes. Not sure what's up with that, but it seems strange when everyone else is still reporting that it's very windy. Current Observations: Temp: 53 DP: 53 Pressure 965mb/28.50" Wind: 7mph - Peak Gust was 22mph Rain: 1.58" One thing to note. During my travels from Tamaqua to Fogelsville for work today, I really saw no tree debris on the roads other than leaves and a few small twigs. I really thought there would be more tree damage around here.
Heisy
Just took my 12 year old brother for a walk to experience this, a huge gust came and he got scared and ran home...A wx fanatic is born...Meanwhile I stayed out for another 15 mins, while I'm walking home the sky lights up 3 times from transformers blowing. AMAZING out there!! (NE PHL)

Eastpa
We're up in lower macungie near bear creek ski mtn and lost power about 20 min ago. Only 13 down here so it's pretty local damage
njweatherlurker
Here in Mercerville, it will be calm, and then all of a sudden bursts of wind. No idea how much they are gusting, but I assume 63 - since we are close to Trenton. Any idea when the winds will subside? I just read that they should subside around 7:30, but I'm wondering if that's accurate.
bugalou
She hit a brick wall at the coast. Breezy here, occasional gusts to 50mph. Guesstimated That upper level vortmax in the jet made it to the other side of Sandy and is not pulling her forward any more, and now they dance. SP
Still no power in Allaire. I tried to check out shark river tidal info and it is not looking good there at all. The low was above the predicted and the rise was moving along into the high tide and the data seems to have become all screwy. Word is the ocean has come into A Street in Belmar. That is one block and counting. High tide an hour off.... CBS 2 has someone in belmar but they have not tweeted in a while. The mayor put out the alert on the ocean side water to A Street. Winds here have picked up.

Boch23
I would say we just had a gust 55ish here after a brief lul. Also there were a few power flashes during it. Edit: And as I step back outside 3 more transformers go boom. Edit edit: 3 more transformers.
